Bealtaine is an important holiday in my Wheel of the Year, but I celebrate it a bit differently since I live in Florida.
Today, I want to discuss some history, mythology, and folklore around Bealtaine (anglicized as Beltane). I also want to share how I’m going to be celebrating this year as a Florida witch getting more connected to my own Land — and it’s fitting that, toward the end, the cicadas just would not stop!
