Gardening and Flowers

In the past, I have gone all out with my garden. I just didn’t have the mental capacity this year, so I planted a tons of zinnia and marigolds. It was the best decision that I have made this year. The entire property is filled with bees, butterflies, and even hummingbirds.

I keep a bird feeder full outside of my office to entertain the cats. Mockingbirds, blue birds, and even crows have nested nearby as a result. The property is noisy and filled with the sound of nature.

It’s so relaxing and makes me happy.

How are everyone else’s gardens doing?

Those are beautiful! :hibiscus:

My garden died but I’ve got plans to do another garden complete with raised beds this next growing season. We’re getting started on the process but we’ve gotta take it one step at a time. It’s storming right now but if I remember I can get some pictures tomorrow

Could you get some pictures of your thunderstorms? As a Kansas kid, I miss them. Two lightning shots in Bremerton, and it’s a major event.

Yeah! I’ve got some pictures hanging around somewhere. I’ll see if I can find some and we can start a thread here in #general of storm and weather pictures  :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain:

The butterflies have moved in. I can’t express how happy that makes me.
