I did a small ritual on June 1st to honor the beginning of hurricane season. I had made some hurricane-specific incense using oak sawdust, Spanish moss, and rosemary and burned it during the ritual. This was the first time in a while I’ve felt truly connected to the world around me here in Florida. It was a different kind of connection than I’ve experienced before but it was a beautiful moment
